The EPA Center created the East Palo Alto Journalism Mentorship
Program to provide community residents with the journalism skills they need to contribute to East Palo Alto Today, to the newspaper's website and to the center's video programming. The mentorship program offered its first workshop in August 2003 and graduated
8 students.
