The EPA Center created the East Palo Alto Journalism Mentorship Program to provide community residents with the journalism skills they will need to write for the newspaper. The program offered its first workshop in August 2003 and graduated 8 students.

The Center is also establishing a collaborative program with local universities to give college students the chance to mentor workshop participants and gain writing and editing experience.

Please contact the EPA Center if you are interested in participating in our Journalism Mentorship Program.
