creating represent a communications
breakthrough for the East Palo Alto community, since the
newspaper, the television office and the website will give
area residents:
powerful communication tools that they can use to increase
their access to information.
educational and informational tools to further
civic awareness and citizen involvement.
a mentoring program to teach journalism skills to interested community members.
an opportunity to present to neighboring communities many of the
positive, productive activities and events taking place in their city.
media forums that support ongoing dialogues about the
issues, personalities and events shaping local, state and national
policies.
a forum that local businesses can use to publicize
their products and services.
