The San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office filed charges on June 8 against 17 year old Fabian Zaragoza of East Palo Alto for the triple shooting and homicide case from June 5, 2011.
Zaragoza has been charged as an adult with murder, with special circumstances of lying in wait, two counts of attempted murder with infliction of great bodily injury, and use of a firearm in the commission of these offenses. He made his first court appearance yesterday afternoon. He is expected to enter a plea on June 15.
The East Palo Alto Police Department, which is credited with arresting the suspect now charged with murder, is still encouraging anyone who might have witnessed the shooting or has any information regarding the crime to contact the police by:
