The East Palo Alto Center for Community Media is presenting a cutting edge workshop for the owners of local small businesses and for those interested in starting a business. The workshop is called "Steps for Winning in a Down Economy" and it wll be led by Charles Askanas, a successful entrepreneur and a SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) consultant.

Workshop details:

      When:  July 14, 2009 - 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    Where:  DLA Piper LLP (US), 2000 University Ave, East Palo Alto, CA 94303
        Cost:  Workshop and lunch - $30.00*  All registrations after July 8 will be $40.00.

During this important workshop, representatives from the Offices of Congresswoman Anna Eshoo and State Senator Joe Simitian will present important information about the federal, state and county monies available to local small businesses under the Economic Stimulus Plan.

A light lunch will be served and prizes will be raffled off.
